Self Sealing
Water Channel |
The design involves the use of a round rubber seal between moulded couplings of reinforced concrete water channel sections.
The seal becomes water tight simply by tightening two stainless steel bolts.

ANOTHER IRRIGATION PROBLEM SOLVED!
With the right ground preparation no concrete base is required. Three men with the appropriate lifting equipment could lay 30-35 self-sealing sections a day. The channel section can be used for industrial drainage in piggeries, factories, mines etc.. storm water diversion in low yielding areas and irrigation.
